Mike has over 18 years of combined experience in construction management, with a particular emphasis on cost and scheduling engineering, and claims analysis. Working as a claims analyst on two world-class projects, Mike has analyzed complex claims demanding millions of dollars, and prepared comprehensive recommendations based on entitlement and validity of claimed costs. Mike’s expertise as a schedule engineer allows him to efficiently identify and assess a multitude of schedule issues, including the true factors driving a critical path and the presence of any concurrent delays. Mike’s extensive experience with claims and dispute resolution fortifies his technical expertise with sound analysis guided by thoughtful contract interpretation and objective review of all pertinent facts.

Notable Project Experience
- Boston Harbor Project, Deer Island, Boston, Massachusetts. The lead Cost and Schedule Engineer and Claims Analyst on $4.1 Billion waste water treatment plant; developed Critical Path Method (CPM) Baseline Schedules based on 30%, 60%, and 90% designs to assist in contract interface coordination and determine contract time; reviewed contractors' CPM Baseline Schedule with up to 2,800 activities and Schedule of Values with up to 1,500 accounts submitted for contract compliance; updated Baseline Schedule and Schedule of Values with contractor on a monthly basis; prepared monthly progress update reports on five contracts; performed time extension analyses for change order work and claims; negotiated with the contractor based on the change order analyses; performed detailed analyses of contractor’s claims, ranging from $10,000 to $4 Million and involving complex technical, as well as contractual, issues.
- Walnut Hill Water Treatment Plant Project ($250 million), Marlborough, Massachusetts. Responsible for $31 million construction management services contract; created and maintained the Program Master Schedule which coordinated interfaces between work at Walnut Hill and the Authority’s MetroWest Water Supply Tunnel; identified potential threats to the critical path; reviewed contractors’ baseline schedules for completeness and constructability; analyzed potential impacts to the critical path as well as start-up sequence caused by change orders and clarifications; prepared detailed analyses of contractors’ claims to determine merit.
